: TRACE STATE PARK: The bass bite is fair. Texas-rigged soft plastics, flukes, spinnerbaits and crankbaits are all popular lure choices. Trace Lake is bass-crowded and anglers are encouraged to keep a limit of bass under 13". The crappie bite has slowed a bit, and the crappie have moved out to deeper water. Jigs and minnows are the best bets. The bream bite has been good recently. Tightlining worms or fishing crickets under a cork should be good techniques. As with bream, the creek channels should be good for catfish. Try tightlining with liver or worms. Reported by: MDWFP |
