: Lake Perry - Bass - Fishing has been good. Focus fishing effort with soft plastics in a green/black/red coloration. Try out worms or flukes. Topwater may also work well in the mornings. Crappie - Fishing has been slow. Focus fishing effort with soft plastics in a green/black/red coloration. Minnows and spinner baits also work well. A spray-on fish attractant is also helpful because a large part of the crappies predatory instinct is scent driven. Bream - Fishing has been good. Focus fishing effort near vegetation with small beetle spin or fish using redworms, nightcrawlers, and crickets. They have just started bedding. Cat - Fishing has been fair. Focus fishing effort on the bottom with red worms, liver, and other stink baits. Reported by: MDWFP |

| About: -
Lake Perry is located in southeastern Mississippi near Beaumount. The 100-acre lake offer excellent bass fishing, but is
best known for its bream.
Loaded with natural and manmade cover, this small lake offers plenty of
options during the spring. Spinnerbaits worked around vegetation, such as grass,
reeds and lily pads, can produce a lot of strikes. The topwater bite is good
shallow from December through the peak of the bream bedding in April and
May.
In the summer, the action concentrates around the deep cover in the main lake
body. Big worms of 10 to 12 inches in length fished Texas-rigged produce the big
bites.
October is another good time to catch bass shallow on topwater lures.
