: LAKE LOWNDES STATE PARK: Water temps are now in the mid to upper 60s. A few crappie anglers are hitting the deep banks (14ft) that have brush and laydowns and reporting some success using jigs. The bass anglers are fishing these same areas with t-rigged plastics. Other bass anglers are hitting the upper end of the lake with rattletraps and spinnerbaits. Good numbers of bass can be caught, but not very many bass over 3 lbs have been reported. The only bream reports are coming from the bank anglers who are fishing crickets in deeper water next to shallow flats. Reported by: MDWFP |
