: Lake Ferguson: - Bass fishing has been really good lately. Try fishing in areas 5 to 10 feet deep. Rocky points, near the stump field on the north end and around the piers are all good locations. Crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and soft plastics are all good choices this time of year. Crappie fishing has been a little slow on the lake. Try fishing in the deep areas of the lake using jigs or minnows. Look for any deep structure you can find such as sunken barges. Bream fishing has been much better with the warmer temperatures. Fishing near the rip rap on the eastern shore as well as deep in the trees is a good spot. Fish in 4 to 6 feet of water using red worms or crickets. Cat - Fish the deep areas of the lake and near the grain elevators using liver, cut bait, or worms. Reported by: MDWFP |
