Conditions : Eagle Lake: Bass - Bass fishing has been good. Try targeting bass in the cypress trees with flipping jigs and topwaters. Docks and piers are also excellent places to target bass. Buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, and pearl flukes are popular baits.

Crappie fishing is good. Anglers are reporting catching fish in 8 to 12 feet of water. Some anglers are trolling deeper water and having success as well.

Bream fishing has been fair with some anglers having success around the cypress trees on float row and near buck chute with crickets and red worms. Others have had limited success in muddy bayou.

Catfishing has been fair. Target catfish with night crawlers or kool-aid soaked chicken parts tightlined in deep water.

Try targeting white bass around piers with little georges and spinnerbaits.
