Conditions : Cheboygan River: Is still producing a few chinook for those drifting spawn or casting crank baits. Most of the fish are very dark and will not last much longer. A light number of small steelhead moved into the river and were caught when drifting spawn. Steelhead fishing should pick up as the weather turns colder. For smallmouth bass, those that did best were fishing the mouth of the river and near the Hack-Ma-Tack Inn. Only a few walleye were caught.
