About: - Hickory Grove Lake is a 98.5 acre lake located within Hickory Grove Park, about 6 miles east of Nevada and 3 miles southwest of Colo off Highway 30.

The lake is known for its crappie fishery, with 8-9 inch fish common. Largemouth bass fishing is good, although most are below the 15 inch size limit. Channel catfish and bluegill are also present in the lake, and provide additional fish opportunities.
