Conditions : Ridgway Reservoir - The reservoir water temperature is 42 degrees. The lake turned over two weeks ago and the fishing is good! We've seen browns come in up to 11 pounds; rainbow fishing is very good. For browns, try using a rainbow rapala, and for rainbows, try a kastmaster or Panther Martin. The reservoir was stocked recently. The tail waters water temperature is 41 degrees and rising. Rainbows are starting to come back in, and the fishing is still good for browns and cutthroat. Try using a #14 gold ribbed hare's ear. The tail waters were also stocked recently. The inlet water temperature is 42 degrees and rising, and off-color. Some browns and Kokanee are being picked up at the color line. General conditions at Ridgway: The reservoir is at 89.7% capacity and rising (66,120 acre feet with the pool elevation at 6,854 ft.); the inflow from the Uncompahgre River is 202 cfs, and the outflow below the dam at Pa-Co-Chu-Puk is 48 cfs.
