Conditions : Eleven Mile Reservoir - Fall action is in full swing with a lot of nice fish being caught throughout the reservoir. Cuttbow, rainbow, cutthroat, and brown trout have all made appearances. Numerous fish in the 5 to 7 pound class are bending rods across the lake. Trolling turned back on. The action has been spread throughout the day. A lot of different lures are currently working. Tasmanian Devils and Rapalas are very effective. Flies, lures, and bait are all working now. The action should continue until the water gets below 50 degrees and then things tend to slow. October certainly is one of our all time favorite fishing months. The biggest fish reported this week was a 10.5 pound cuttbow trout. The kokanee salmon fishing is rated as poor. Some fish are being caught, but only sporadically. The northern pike fishing remains decent. Spinner baits, spoons, and sticks are all working well. Try the west end of the reservoir just off the over flow channel in 20 feet of water. The east side of Howbert to Witchers Cove has also been productive. The first 10 days of October are historically known for great pike fishing.
