Conditions : Lake Greeson: Jason Lenderman with JL Guide Service (870-490-0804) said the lake level is 541.52 feet msl as of Tuesday and up almost a foot from last week, which is still well under normal pool. Water temperature is 44-49 degrees with some color throughout the lake, with more in the upper lake due to the recent rains. Although bass are biting fair to good using a variety of methods, quality bites are hard to come by. Booyah jigs in brown or green pumpkin colors are working well around brush and rocks from 10 feet to as deep as 30 feet. Bandit crankbaits in crawfish colors are catching several fish on rocky and windblown banks. Crankbaits are working better in the more colored water. Smithwick Rogue jerkbaits are also working well around windy main lake points. Crappie are fair to good around deeper brush using minnows or Kalin’s Grubs.

About: - Narrows Dam impounds the waters of the Little Missouri River to form 7,000-acre Lake Greeson, a prime recreational resource in southwest Arkansas. The 12-mile-long lake features clear waters and steep, rocky ridges that form numerous islands and long peninsulas extending into the lake.  Anglers flock to Lake Greeson for the abundant channel catfish and rainbow trout fishing.

Fishing: Lake Greeson offers a rich variety of game fish includes such species as largemouth, smallmouth, spotted and white bass, flathead and channel catfish, black and white crappie, and bluegill. In the Little Missouri River tailwaters below the dam, rainbow trout fishing is a popular sport, as these are stocked by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.

Camping and picnicking are available at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' parks and at Daisy State Park located around the lake shore.
