Conditions : Brewer Lake: Jan Johnson at Brewer Lake Bait Shop (501-354-4108) said crappie are biting well in 10 to 15 feet of water on live minnows, and white, clear or sparkle-colored jigs in combination with an orange or pink jighead. They are still on brush piles but are more active on the south side of the lake and in the Cypress Creek inlet area. Bass are hitting topwater lures around the banks early mornings and late afternoons. Channel catfish and blue catfish are active early afternoon through midnight using liver, nightcrawlers and large minnows on jugs and poles. Bream are biting well on crickets and redworms around the shore.
