Conditions : Brewer Lake: Jan Johnson at Brewer Lake Bait Shop (501-354-4108) said the water is receding and there is a little exposed shoreline for bank fishing. Fishing for all species has been very good the past week. Crappie are still at 17 to 18 feet deep and taking live minnows and jigs fished over brushpiles. Large flatheads are being caught at night on jugs baited with bream at 10 to 15 feet deep fished over structures. Blue catfish are best around the dam area on jugs and poles baited with large minnows or nightcrawlers. Bream are still in the brush around the banks and taking crickets and worms at 1 to 3 feet deep. Brewer Lake Bass Club caught some impressive bass June 20 during their tournament.
