Conditions : Brewer Lake: Larry Walters at Bones Bait Shop (501-354-9900) said the water is clear and at normal level. The surface water temperature is 77 to 83 degrees. Bream are slow to fair on worms and crickets fished in brush 15 to 18 feet deep. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Bass are fair on spinnerbaits fished in the creeks, and bass should be making a push shallower as the water temperature begins to cool down. Catfishing is slow, but a few have been caught on shad and chicken livers. White bass are slow.
