High Plains Oar Locks

Designed to eliminate oar slop, noise and wasted movement reducing fatigue and facilitating positive boat control.

High Plains Oar Locks are ideal for drift boats and skiffs.

Can be used on all oars with or without wraps or sleeves with diameters up to 2 1/4 inches. Without sleeves or wraps the integral P.V.C. sleeve protects your oar shaft . They work excellent with an oar stop alone. If you prefer to leave existing wraps on simply remove the P.V.C. sleeve. As seen in the above photo the cup design allows for the use of oar rights if you desire.

Cast and machined from high grade 304 stainless steel for a lifetime of unparalleled service. The P.V.C. sleeves and the U.H.M.W. gimbal pin bushings are replaceable however, after years of punishing use on western rivers mine are still intact!
