Conditions : ELK RIVER: River conditions continue to be excellent for some late season steelhead fishing. Boat anglers are reporting a mix of fresh and spawned out steelhead. Anglers can call 541-332-0405 to get the daily river conditions. Best river height is 5.3 feet and dropping.

About: - Elk River: October through January. The Elk River is 50 miles long with 10 miles of good King Salmon fishing water for late season. The Elk River is a wonderful small stream with more King salmon holding water and holes per mile than any other stream in Oregon. Kings on the Elk River average about 30-pounds, with fish to 50-pounds.
