Conditions : ELK RIVER: The river closes the end of March. Anglers will want call and check river conditions before heading out. The river fishes best at 5 feet and dropping. Check river conditions by calling 541-332-0405.

Sixes - River conditions have been good for picking up some late steelhead. The steelhead season ends the end of March.

About: - Elk River: October through January. The Elk River is 50 miles long with 10 miles of good King Salmon fishing water for late season. The Elk River is a wonderful small stream with more King salmon holding water and holes per mile than any other stream in Oregon. Kings on the Elk River average about 30-pounds, with fish to 50-pounds.
