| About: -
Lake Mary Ronan is one of the few lakes in Montana not open to year-round
fishing. The fishing season on this 1,500-acre lake is closed from February 28
through the third Saturday in May in order to allow undisturbed spawning for the
lakes self-sustaining rainbow trout population. This lovely lake, located in
rolling timbered hills and mountains, has become a popular summertime recreation
spot for anglers, boaters, water-skiers, and picnickers. Directions: Lake Mary Ronan is 8 miles west of Flathead Lake and Highway 93, approximately
half way between Polson and Kalispell.
