About: - Lake Mary Ronan is one of the few lakes in Montana not open to year-round fishing. The fishing season on this 1,500-acre lake is closed from February 28 through the third Saturday in May in order to allow undisturbed spawning for the lake’s self-sustaining rainbow trout population. This lovely lake, located in rolling timbered hills and mountains, has become a popular summertime recreation spot for anglers, boaters, water-skiers, and picnickers.

Directions:  Lake Mary Ronan is 8 miles west of Flathead Lake and Highway 93, approximately half way between Polson and Kalispell.
