Conditions : Hauser Lake: Trout fishing is getting better with cooler water temps. Trolling spoons and spinner rigs behind cowbells is your best bet, although there has been some decent crank bait action. Look for the trout to be anywhere from 10-30 feet deep. Shoreline anglers are doing well at Black Sandy and the Causeway on Hauser, as well as Log Gulch and at the Gates on Holter. Walleye fishing is getting better on both reservoirs. Jigging is your best bet, usually early and late in the day. Look for the walleyes to be hiding along weed lines and drop offs. Perch fishing on Holter is great right now, but they arent schooled up as much as in years past. Moving every 5 or 6 fish is the key right now.
