Conditions : Elk City Reservoir: Crappie Good 8-14 inches Crappie are staging offshore, as water approaches 60 degrees the fish will move shallower. Minnows or jigs under a cork or dabbled right on the shoreline will be the most effective.

Blue and channel catfish Good 18-26 inches Catfish angling should be excellent as spring progresses. Drifting chicken liver along flats adjacent to the river channel is a consistent producer.

White bass Good 8-16 inches White bass have began to move upriver. Look for fish staging in deeper pools in the Elk River with some moving into riffles. Twirl-tail grubs are typically the best bait. This fishing can be hit-and-miss and is dependent on water level.

Outlet Fishing is good at the outlet when water is being released. Use the link below to determine release volume.
