: Palisades Reservoir: Fishing has slowed down from earlier this spring. Fishing white, pearl, and rainbow tube jigs have still been producing some fish. Trolling with down riggers and lead core line has been the best lately. Fish are a little deeper due to the warmer water temperatures. Troll black/gold, silver/black, rainbow, and brown count down rapalas in size 9's and 11's. Bait fishermen have been picking up some fish with a night crawler and marshmallow of the bottom Reported by: |

| About: -
The predominate game species of Palisades Reservoir is cutthroat
trout, both wild and stocked. Second in angler popularity is the brown trout.
Though not as abundant, the browns provide a good trophy fishery with an average
length of nearly 17". Also in the lake are kokanee and mackinaw. The mackinaw,
or lake trout, are relatively few in number, but can be found in deep
water. (more on the Palisades)
