Campground is situated in lodgepole pine trees, on flat terrain, and subject to wind and summer thunderstorms. Area is located near the east end of Palisades Reservoir. Water is shallow along the shoreline. Restrooms are provided. Activities in the area include lake fishing, swimming, boating, white water rafting and horseback riding. Firewood is for sale at the campground. Full time campground host located on site. Directions: Western Wyoming, 40 miles south of Jackson Hole. Go 2 miles west of Alpine Wyoming on Highway 26. Campground located along highway. Gravel all weather road excellent access for large vehicles.. |

Located in southeastern Idaho along Palisades Reservoir. Blowout is the second largest boating facility on the reservoir. Excellent area for RVs and large boat trailers. There is boat parking at this site. This campground is not suitable for tents due to the gravel parking lot. A campground host is located on site. Directions: (between Calamity and Alpine campgrounds) Western Wyoming, 40 miles south of Jackson Hole. Go 2 miles west of Alpine Wyoming on Highway 26. Campground located along highway. Gravel all weather road excellent access for large vehicles.. |
