Fishing Info: Lake Cascade is nestled in the majestic mountains of central Idaho, about 75 miles north of Boise on State Highway 55. Rainbow trout, Coho salmon, and small mouth bass and perch can be caught from the shore or by boat in the summer or through the ice in the winter. The North Fork of the Payette River, with its world-class kayaking rapids, flows to the south of Cascade.
