Fishing Info: The Boise River, located just a few minutes from downtown Boise, however most anglers elect to fish the South Fork located below Anderson Dam near Mountain Home. The most popular float is from the launch below the dam to the take-out at Indian Point. This features several types of water, and floating conditions are moderate. It's possible to extend the float from the dam down to the Cow Creek Bridge, but the section between Indian Point and the bridge features some technical water and more difficult floating conditions.

Getting There: From Boise, take I-84 east, get off at Blacks Creek Road Exit at mile 64. Follow the road to the north over the Danskin Mountains. Continue to the take-out 19 miles from here. The put-in is 21 miles up the dirt road from here.
