| Fishing Info: Ridgeway: Rainbow trout are stocked annually by the Division of Wildlife. Brown trout, which inhabited the Uncompahgre River prior to construction of the dam, are also in the reservoir. Kokanee salmon have recently been stocked in the reservoir and have flourished. Ridgway State Park has two small ponds beneath the dam that are stocked with small trout. Direction: Take U.S. 550 south of Montrose for 22 miles to the park entrance.
